With 30 years of legal experience, Larry Slade is the visionary force behind Slade Law. Born and raised in New York City, Larry has forged a remarkable career as a successful entrepreneur, licensed attorney, and respected trial lawyer. His work has been characterized by an unwavering dedication to championing his clients’ interests.

Larry Slade embarked on his legal journey at Pace University School of Law and served as a Student Assistant District Attorney for the Manhattan DA’s office. There, he developed his skills through the Prosecution of Domestic Violence Clinical Program, where he and his trial partner achieved the distinction of being the first law students to secure a jury trial guilty verdict even before graduating law school. Larry was recruited to serve as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, Larry’s frequent courtroom appearances and numerous jury trials solidified his skills as a formidable trial lawyer.

Larry’s unique background has fundamentally shaped our firm’s values. From delivering sales training for Fortune 500 companies to serving as vice president of sales and marketing for a startup technology company, his diverse experiences grant him a unique perspective in serving our legal clientele. Dan Robinson is an experienced litigator.

Dan has represented major corporations at large international law firms in San Francisco and boutique firms in Los Angeles. He has represented companies including some of the world’s largest corporations in Federal Court in jurisdictions around the United States, as well as in international arbitrations and the Federal Trade Commission. He litigated cases for JPMorgan Chase, Samsung, Microsoft, Huawei, Ariba, MySpace, Goldman Sachs, and others, arguing in courts in North Carolina, Illinois, California, Texas, Washington state, and Washington D.C. Before entering private practice, Dan served as a law clerk for a federal judge in the Central District of California.

Dan is an avid sailor who spends many of his weekends sailing around the California coast and offshore islands. A former professional musician, Dan also enjoys playing with local musicians, lately focusing on the jazz bass.

Samantha Canales graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Public Health. She has been a Legal Assistant for 6 years and also works as an Academic Tutor for middle school, high school, and college students. She is currently a second-year law student at Southwestern Law School.

In her capacity as a Legal Assistant, Samantha adeptly handles a range of responsibilities. The scope of her work involves preparing, proofreading, and filing legal documents. During trial proceedings, Samantha plays a vital role by carefully gathering necessary materials, reviewing trial management orders, and ensuring all requirements are met. As a liaison between the firm and other parties, she is also in charge of writing and sending correspondence to attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel. Beyond these tasks, Samantha actively engages in strategic planning, contributing her insights to identify and accomplish both short-term and long-term objectives for the team.

Sam loves to travel and go camping with her 2 dogs and fiancé.

Jill excels in organizing and managing the office, effectively tracking tasks and timelines for seamless operations. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in preparing final versions of pleadings, discovery, motions, and contracts, showcasing a keen eye for detail in all aspects of legal documentation. Her ability to efficiently manage legal operations make her an invaluable asset to the legal team.

Jill has previously worked as a legal assistant at Johnson, Berg & Saxby, PLLP, collaborating closely with a Senior Attorney, and Ogle, Worm & Travis, PLLP, where she gained invaluable experience facilitating trial preparations. She has also been employed by Harker Injury Law as a Case Manager, and Brandon Law Firm, PLLC as a Bankruptcy Specialist/Assistant.
